The Feed St. Mary’s Food Bank, spawned by the Rotary Club of Lexington Park, opened for business with its first delivery of food on March 20, 2020. All food is destined for immediate distribution to local Food Pantries. Feed St. Mary’s has become an official partner of the Maryland Food Bank which distributes much needed food statewide.

Connecting the World – WE ARE ROTARY: Honoring the Rotary International founder, a Paul Harris Fellowship is awarded on the basis of a $1,000 donation to the Rotary International Foundation by or in the name of an Individual. The Rotary Club of Lexington recently presented follow-on Paul Harris pins to Dr. Bob Goldsmith (Top L), Jane Sypher (Top R), Michael Guy (Lower L) and Mac McGarity (Lower R).

Connecting the World – WE ARE ROTARY: The fourth object of Rotary is “The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service”. The Rotary Club of Lexington Park celebrates this by participating in Rotary’s 4 Way Test Speech Contest, where local high school students compete in oratorial skills illustrating Roary’s 4 Way Test.

Connecting the World - I AM ROTARY: Longstanding member of the Rotary Club of Lexington Park, Paula Coxon, works the gate a the U.S. Oyster Festival in St. Mary's County. All festival gate proceeds go towards growing community. For example, Paula also heads up the Club's annual contribution to and direct participation in Christmas in April.
