The Rotary Club of Lexington Park awarded their 2018 Rotary Scholarships at the annual awards Luncheon on Monday June 3, 2018. Outstanding young members of the community were recognized and awarded scholarships by the Club to students who demonstrated a combination of academic excellence and service in their community. The Rotary Club of Lexington Park awarded over $22,000 in scholarships this year to these deserving students in our County. Making a Difference – WE ARE ROTARY: At the 2018 Rotary District Convention, the Rotary Club of Lexington Park won a gold level Presidential Citation for overall club performance, a gold level Public Image Award and a Bronze level Membership Development Award. Vice President Frank Faust accepted all three awards from the 2017-2018 District Governor Gregory Wims (right) and Conference Chair Barton Goldenberg (left).
